Annual projects

Transmission:

• Undertaking the monitoring of the project initiated in compulsory education three years ago. During the 2004/05 academic year more than 2,600 pupils have been taking part in the “Oracy and Bertsolaritza” programme in 5 regions and 56 school centres.
• Structuring, stabilising and developing an overall project for transmission with the bertso-eskolas (bertso schools), co-opting their participating members. The aim is to guarantee the transmission of the bertso-eskolas, enhance their conditions and create a network of such schools.

Promoting knowledge:

• In this sense, performances seem to be continuing in a positive manner, but the same cannot be said for promoting young bertsolaris and, given that there is room for improvement in this area, it is planned to carry out a study, a debate with the young bertsolaris and analyse possible solutions. The idea is to find a project that provides results on a regular basis.

Research:

• Continue with the collecting and classification of information and material for the Xenpelar Documentation Centre.
• Continue with the design of Haitzondo data base.
• Carry out interviews with the various components of bertsolaritza: bertsolaris, judges, etc. This year live interviews will be recorded.
