How to search

• In the search window, free text can be introduced
• To obtain requested information, it is not necessary to write the whole text
• Regarding the title, suffice to write just one word thereof
• Key characters or conjunctive words act as substitutes for complete words or parts thereof
• To carry out the search, this programme uses the corpus of the Academy of the Basque Language and, thus, there might arise discrepancies with words not adapting to these criteria.

Symbols for conjunctive words

• & substituting “and”.
  Example: ardo & naparra; negu & hurbil; orio & balea
  
• | (Alt Gr + 1) substituting “or”.
  Example: ilargi | izar; ama | aita; lur | mendi

Key Characters

• * Search all declinations of the target word. It can be pre- or suffixed.
  Example: maite* ; naufrago* ; *txuri
  
• ? Interrogation mark substitutes just one character.
  Example: na?arra ; go?o ; sem?ak.
