| The
Zortziko Menor keeps the four puntu/eight line structure and the obligatory
rhyming on the even lines, but the number of syllables is changed in each
verse. There being fewer syllables and, the discourse being compressed,
this type of metre and its corresponding airs are more given to the pure
dialectic of jocular situations. |
